Aug 8/ 15- Box Class with hinged lid
Class Description
This is a two day class open to intermediate students with their own tools and some experience in glass. Aug 8 and 15 from 12-4 each day. You will work with foam blocks to work 3 dimensionally and create a box on day one. Then design your own lid, create and attach a hinge to create a usable box of your own design. We will discuss strength in the design process, accuracy of 90 degree angles, and will work with lead free solder. Students will use their own materials, tools and glass. Lead free solder and glass is available for purchase. Box dimensions will be custom to each student. If lid design is complex, student will do additional work at home between classes.

Hey friends, We are a small artist run studio. We understand sickness and unpredictable things happen in life. We are doing our best to be generous with our time and materials. Please read over these terms. One Day Classes: • 50% refund with seven or more days’ notice prior to the start date of the class or 100% credit toward a future class. • 25% refund with six or fewer days notice or 50% credit for a future class. • If you cannot come to your class on the day of, due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide you either 25% refund or 50% credit for a future class.
